Daisy’s and Charlie’s puppies are over six weeks old now, and sweeter, chubbier, cuter little youngsters would be hard to find! With the exceptionally warm weather we’ve enjoyed this fall in New England, these little boys and girls have had the privilege of outside playtime quite often. They love to run, tumble, wrestle, roll, and sniff through the abundance of fun, crunchy leaves, after one another and after the children! Tomorrow, they will experience their first car ride when they embark on an adventure to the vets for their health exams. And, before long, their new owners will be coming to claim these little Golden treasures as part of their families!
After sharing a little update and some adorable pictures of April and Grant’s pups yesterday, we wanted to pop in with a few photos of Daisy and Charlie’s fast growing litter as well! If you had to choose which little canines are the cutest, could you?! I would definitely be hard pressed to vote on that question!
t two and a half weeks old, Daisy and Charlie’s chubby, healthy pups, four boys and three girls, have their beautiful blue eyes open to the world around them. Their cute little legs grow sturdier with each passing day as they toddle around, while their adorable little bodies have plumped out charmingly (Daisy’s a good first time mother and takes her responsibility of nourishing them seriously!).
They haven’t quite outgrown the newborn puppy stage of soft little squeaks, grunts, and sweet murmurings even as they rapidly gain size and strength. These pups’ faces define adorable! When we took them outside yesterday to enjoy the beautiful Indian Summer weather, they seemed more impressed with their need to sleep then to experience the world around them – but give them a few weeks, and they’ll be romping and tumbling all over the place!
Good night, sleep tight!
Please note that all of these puppies are already reserved.
April and Grant’s puppies will be four weeks old in just two days! Healthy, robust, happy, and playful, they have grown by leaps and bounds since their birth in September, and have enjoyed the additional benefit of some beautiful outdoor, autumn playtime thanks to the warm weather we’ve been enjoying.
Our children love playing with them each afternoon, and after fastening soft little colored ID collars on them, unofficially christened them with names: Red collar is “Apple”, green collar is “Cucumber,” yellow collar is “Joyce” – but my memory fails me in recalling all the creative names in use at the moment!
We have lots to give thanks for, including more new puppies here! Daisy and Charlie’s first litter of fine pups were born on September 29th, 2020 – a lovely bunch of dark red, roly-poly adorable little canines!
As a first time mother, sweet, pretty Daisy has settled into her maternal duties quite well, nursing, cleaning, caressing, and snuggling her healthy, vigorous four little boys and three little girls!
Daisy takes after her mother, Sunny, (one of our especially favorite Goldens) so much that we keep finding ourselves calling Daisy by her mother’s name! And if Daisy’s pups take after her and Charlie, they will mature into beautiful, handsome, strong, sweet, and dark/medium dark Goldens!
Puppy snuggling is in full swing – and just like April’s puppies, this litter has been introduced to their bio-senory stimulation. While we can’t share the puppy snuggles on the computer, we’ll try to share some of the puppy cuteness – but please note that all of these puppies are already reserved and are not available for sale. :o)
April and Grant’s pups are doing splendid and growing by leaps and bounds! Their beautiful blue eyes are open to the sights of the world around them – a world which right now consists of mother, a warm, cozy home, plenty of milk, lots of naps, and sweet snuggle times. As you might have noticed in the video posted earlier on our facebook page and also embedded below, these youngsters are also discovering how to use their legs as they toddle about! Aren’t their little growls and squeaks adorable?!
Here at Windy Knoll Goldens, we’ve been blessed with two wonderful arrivals this past week: Both the official autumn equinox and the glorious warm hues of early fall have washed over our home, and our first fall litter of puppies have been born!
We welcomed AKC April of Windy Knoll Goldens and AKC Ulysses Grant of Windy Knoll Goldens gorgeous litter of healthy, dark red pups on September 18, 2020.
Each of these adorable little canines, seven little boys and three lovely girls, have already grown in size and strength in their first few days of life, murmuring sweet, soft squeaking sounds as they root about in the comfort of their mother’s shelter, nursing vigorously and sleeping soundly as only puppies can.
They also quickly settle in for snuggles, and have been introduced to daily bio-sensor therapy, a technique we use with all our pups which helps develop excellent neurological development and better adaptability throughout life.
Please Note: All these puppies are reserved.
It’s been delightful (and busy!) to have united many of our current puppies with their new families over the last weeks! Our kiddos are glad, however, that we still have Susie and Buddy’s litter to play and snuggle with, as these adorable Golden pups are not quite old enough to join their forever homes just yet.
It’s hard to say who enjoyed playing and snuggling more this afternoon – the children or the pups!
Susie’s puppies possess exceptionally cute, sweet faces and love snuggling or romping. They will soon have their vet checks and before we know it, these little Goldens will be heading off to their new homes!
