Goldie and Brad are anticipating an all American litter that will go home in September 2025!
One of our priorities at Windy Knoll Goldens is to provide puppies that will be excellent, healthy, friendly companions, and pets for life. The foundation to achieving our goal is making sure the parents exhibit those qualities. As caring golden retriever breeders, we test our dogs for common golden retriever genetic points including DM, GRPRA1, GRPRA2, MD etc. and have them certified with the Orthopedic Foundation of America (OFA) or PennHip to ensure our breeding dogs and their puppies are not prone to genetic weaknesses. X-Ray tests and screens are performed when the dogs reach an appropriate age – usually 2 years old (OFA) and usually around 1 year old (PennHIP). As responsible golden retriever breeders we always research our pedigree for optimal breeding lines.

Daisy and George have the most “colorful” golden retrievers with cute little splashes of white. See if you can spot them! The are the smartest puppies on the block, learning things much quicker than all the other litters that we have. After one time through the doggie door, most of them figured out how to get right back in. They not only learn well, but they are also very outgoing and friendly.
Patsy and George’s litter arrived on the first day of 2023. Talk about starting the year off right. What could you want more than 8 beautiful dark red puppies with 1 female and 7 males? Well, probably a few more females. Patsy produces such soft, cuddly, and plump puppies! George adds the little white spots on the foreheads and a splash of white on some of the paws.
This will be the darkest golden retriever pair ever bred here at Windy Knoll Goldens! Both Lady and Brad boast sleek, dark red coats that come close to Irish Setter red. This will be an active litter with both Lady and Brad intilligent, and more active than many of our goldens. Both have short coats, strong build, and would make great companion dogs or hunting dogs.
***All puppies have been spoken for*** This is the first time King Henry I and Clover have paired up! Clover had 3 healthy chunky puppies! All are spoken for! Henry has a glistening dark red coat and a strong personality. Clover is a very sweet and mild golden who loves her puppies and is gentle and kind.
Goldie, our blocky-headed, golden-colored, mild-mannered Golden Retriever, and Lance, a beautiful Golden Retriever from Ukrainian lines, created 11 beautiful light golden puppies. There is now only 1 female puppy available. As this mild-mannered, friendly female mature, we understand why some of the puppies were considered for therapy dog work. One has gone on to start training as a therapy golden. We may end up keeping one of them as they both are so calm, quiet, and intelligent. ***Updated 8/22/2024***
Available!
Apart from the recent litters listed below, we occasionally have older puppies available (3-9 months) that have already gone through preliminary training. At times we also have retired goldens that we are looking to re-home.
