One of our priorities at Windy Knoll Goldens is to provide puppies that will be excellent, healthy, friendly companions, and pets for life. The foundation to achieving our goal is making sure the parents exhibit those qualities. As caring golden retriever breeders, we test our dogs for common golden retriever genetic points including DM, GRPRA1, GRPRA2, MD etc. and have them certified with the Orthopedic Foundation of America (OFA) or PennHip to ensure our breeding dogs and their puppies are not prone to genetic weaknesses. X-Ray tests and screens are performed when the dogs reach an appropriate age – usually 2 years old (OFA) and usually around 1 year old (PennHIP). As responsible golden retriever breeders we always research our pedigree for optimal breeding lines.

Summer is here in New England, and has brought with it a beautiful new litter of puppies! Clover and Charlie’s litter of Golden Retrievers is a delightful bunch. These adorable puppies are sure to capture your heart with their charming personalities and fluffy golden coats. As they grow, they will exhibit the friendly and gentle nature that Golden Retrievers are known for, making them fantastic companions for individuals and families alike. With Clover and Charlie as their parents, you can expect these pups to blossom into gentle loving dogs, just like their parents.

Spring has come to Maine, and so have more puppies! Daisy and George’s puppies are always very cute, with dark red coats and friendly personality’s!
Much anticipated American golden retriever puppies from Spice and Charlie! These puppies will be the last that Spice has as she will be retiring. Her puppies will be ready to go home around July 31, 2024.

Apart from the recent litters listed below, we occasionally have older puppies available (3-9 months) that have already gone through preliminary training. At times we also have retired goldens that we are looking to re-home.
