Our Golden Paradise

Take a look at what’s been in the works for the last year and a half here at Windy Knoll Goldens! Since moving to Bradford, Maine from Vermont, we have been working on our new set up for housing our golden retriever mothers and puppies. After years of raising our wonderful Goldens, we knew just what kind of facility we wanted to make our job and our dog’s environment as great as possible! We’re really excited that our new kennel, with large whelping pens for our little golden puppies to be born in, indoor/outdoor access for our mothers, and indoor room for exercise, features all that we were hoping for and allows us to care for our Goldens splendidly! Climate controlled rooms make it easy to keep our puppies warm in the winter (a big consideration in this northern climate!) and cool in the summer. On our 99 acres, there are large fenced in play areas where our goldens can run and play with each other. Plus each of our dogs love their walks and run times throughout our peaceful 25 acres of fields and 74 acres of forest, streams, paths and thickets. They can even swim in one of our ponds if they so choose! We and our children are very thankful for the wonderful blessing of raising family friendly golden retrievers for others.
