Playtime with Ms. Cooper — Golden Retriever Puppy In Training at Windy Knoll Goldens!

If you follow along with us here at Windy Knoll Goldens, you may already know Ms. Cooper — and if you don’t, you are in for a treat. This Golden Retriever puppy is coming along beautifully in her training, learning quickly, and showing off quite the personality along the way! We could not be more proud of how she is developing, and we just had to share an update!

Meet Ms. Cooper

Ms. Cooper is one of those puppies who makes every single day a little brighter. From Brad and Violet’s past litter she has stayed on with us for some extra training before joining her forever family! She has a quick mind, a willing spirit, and an absolute refusal to be left out of anything! Whatever we are doing — she wants to be right in the middle of it. That people-first personality is one of the things we love most about her. Golden Retrievers are known for their social nature, and Ms. Cooper is a textbook example. She is not content to sit on the sidelines — she is in it, engaged, curious, and always watching to see what comes next. That kind of attentiveness makes her an easy puppy to train!

How We Train Golden Retriever Puppies at Windy Knoll Goldens

With Ms. Cooper, we focus on short, positive sessions that work with her natural curiosity and energy rather than against it. Golden Retrievers are wired to please — they just need clear, consistent communication and plenty of encouragement. Ms. Cooper is picking it all up quickly, and her confidence grows a little more every single day. We keep training sessions short and fun — because a puppy who enjoys learning is a puppy who keeps learning. We use balanced training methods focusing on building trust and engagement before anything else. For a personality like Ms. Cooper’s, that engagement comes naturally. She is ready to work the moment you give her your attention! Golden Retrievers are one of the most trainable breeds in the world — but that potential is best unlocked early. The habits, confidence, and social skills a puppy builds in their first months stay with them for life!
