Dark Red Golden Retriever Puppies
Brad and Ellamae’s new dark red golden retriever puppies arrived early Tuesday morning. All eight of these spring puppies are nursing energetically, sleeping soundly, and gaining weight. With 3 females and 5 males to care for, Ellamae is one busy mother. While most newborn puppies tend to be lighter in color, these particular pups are an especially handsome dark red. Given their sweet mamma and active intelligent father, it will be exciting to watch their development and growth. This litter will be heading to their new homes the last week of May.

Your goldens are beautiful! And, I love the fact you take much respect and care into the breeding and puppy care. Wish more breeders would!
Although my husband and I had goldens for over 40 yrs. we wonder more about size predictably based on parents ht. and wt. Would you mind explaining the breeding of two 60lbs, and how likely a pup would be 60lbs. or less.
Also, we are wondering about cancer in your lines. Do you follow, with reporting, how often it shows up in your dogs before 10 years of age?
We are starting to look into a pup , for when our daughter’s family looses their part golden mix. Their dog was a rescue, with no hipbone setting and is 15, now with cancer. It may be awhile, but my 7 yr. old granddaughter will want a pup. She is very much a dog lover, and is very close to her’s.Thus, I am starting to do my due diligence now, to find the best resources for a new family member.
I thank you for any guidance and information about your lines etc. most sincerely, Kimberly
