Meet The Windy Knoll AKC Bernese Mountain Dogs
Our small family of Bernese Mountain Dogs is registered with the AKC (American Kennel Club), the registration association of choice for outstanding canines. More importantly, our lovely and beautiful Mountain Dogs are all happy, healthy dogs selected for their warm, friendly, and outstanding personalities as well as their health genetics!
One of our priorities at Windy Knoll Goldens is to provide puppies that will be excellent, healthy, friendly companions, and pets for life. The foundation to achieving our goal is making sure the parents exhibit those qualities. As caring breeders of Golden Mountain Dogs, we test our dogs for common genetic points and have them certified with the Orthopedic Foundation of America (OFA) or PennHip to ensure our breeding dogs and their puppies are strong and healthy. As responsible breeders we always research our pedigree for optimal breeding lines.
Our dear Emmy, a splendid Bernese Mountain Dog, has brought boundless joy to our home. She’s a gentle giant, ever so patient and kind, especially with the little ones. In contrast to some of the livelier Golden Retrievers, Emmy’s calm and easygoing nature makes her a loyal companion, always content to amble alongside you with a wagging tail and a cheerful glint in her eye. Her sweet disposition warms the heart, and she’s never far behind, faithfully trailing us through the house or yard like a loyal friend. Emmy’s the sort of dog that makes every day brighter, and we’re mighty lucky to have her.
