Susie’s Dark Red Golden Retriever Puppies

Susie’s nine chubby puppies had a special visit from some young folks this past Saturday. It was new collar day. Each puppy had a comfortable colorful collar carefully fitted by the children. The kids learned how to do the two-finger test: if you can’t fit two fingers under the collar, it is too snug/tight for the pup. If you can slide more than two fingers, it is too loose and will probably come off or catch on something. While the puppies were fitted for collars, Susie enjoyed some spa time. She received a thorough wash, grooming, and trim. She certainly is a fine-looking mother, and her pups reflect her strong American Red AKC lineage.
