This is One of the Hardest Decisions We Have Had to Make

Sometimes, our best laid plans fail, not due to our own doing, but rather, due to outside influences. Today was supposed to be our very first Windy Knoll Goldens reunion, but after seeing the forecasted rain we decided to postpone the reunion to the 31st of August. It was a bit deflating to have to change gears during our preparation, but we think it will be worth it especially if the weather is better for the next day. Right now there are puddles all over our place, the trails in the woods are flooded, and the field we would have used for parking could have gotten cars stuck.

But on the bright side, we are looking forward to the new date of August 31 starting at 9:30. We had expected around 65 people and around 25 goldens to be at the reunion, and we expect similar numbers for August 31. We look forward to good food, lovely walks around our fields and woods, a massive tennis ball toss into the pond and much more. More updates will follow!
