There is no day quite like puppy pickup day. After weeks of cuddles, first wobbly steps, and round-the-clock care here at Windy Knoll Goldens, this is the moment our puppies head off to start their lives with their forever families!
One of our little boys recently made a big journey to his new home, flying home across the country. Here is what his new owner, Alexandra, shared with us:
“He did fantastic on the plane and is settling in remarkably well. He’s snoozing in his crate now after a busy morning! Thank you for giving us our little boy; we love him so much already!”
Golden retriever puppies go home at around eight weeks old. By then they are weaned, eating on their own, and ready to bond with their new family!
