Incredible Photos Of Lucy And George’s 2 Week Old Golden Puppies!

Lucy and George’s 2 week old golden puppies are here, and what a difference a couple of weeks makes! Lucy had a big litter of beautiful fat healthy puppies, and at this age they are round, sleepy and growing fast. A lot has changed since we told you their dark red litter had arrived.
Their eyes will start to open soon, with their ears not far behind. At this age puppies also begin pushing up on their front legs and crawling around the whelping box more. Most of the day is still spent eating, sleeping and staying close to Lucy. She is an outstanding mother to every one of them. Our daily early neurological stimulation runs from day 3 through day 16, so these puppies are nearly finished with that first round of gentle handling.
2 week old golden puppies still cannot keep themselves warm, so the whole litter sleeps under an infrared heat lamp. It holds the whelping box at an even temperature day and night. It is also where you will find every last one of them piled up together whenever they are not nursing.
