Some dogs introduce themselves. Others appreciate an introduction. Meet Violet, our lovely mixed English Cream/American Red retriever. Violet is quiet and gentle. She doesn’t demand attention, but she absolutely loves it when someone greets and pets her. Violet spends a considerable amount of time watching people-her expressive face and eyes following nearby humans. Violet also loves to sit in the doorway of her house and take in the blustery weather and antics of her fellow retrievers. When given the chance, she will nuzzle up to you and wait for a scratch behind the ears and some warm words of affirmation. Our canine community wouldn’t be the same without sweet Violet!
Violet is expecting puppies! We are so excited for this pairing — between her and George, we should have a mix of beautiful golden puppies. With both of their loving, warm personalities, the puppies are sure to carry on their outstanding temperaments! They will be ready to go home in September!
