Meet The Windy Knoll AKC Golden Retrievers
The full sister of Patsy and Clara, Susie comes in as the most slender, lithe build weighing around 55 lbs. Susie is a dark red all American golden retriever, but just a shade lighter than her two sisters. She loves playing fetch and is probably the most energetic of the three sisters. She calmly and loving plays around our children and interacts in a fun-loving manner with her other golden friends.
Martha Washington is one our most distinguished American Red Golden Retrievers, possessing a graceful, well proportioned build with a strong head and handsome, dark red coat. She has a quiet and unassuming temperament, giving her loyalty and affection sweetly and gently to the human companions that she loves, complemented by a keen intelligence. Patsy is an exceptional mother; her puppies are always robust and healthy.
A medium-sized golden with a beautiful, creamy gold coat and well proportioned slender build, Spice possesses a regal bearing and a lovely, gentle, and sweet personality. She is a quiet golden who is content just to be in our presence, and while sporting a trim, lightly feathered coat during the summer, her winter coat thickens to a luxurious, thick layer during the winter months.
Lady Liberty is a dark red field golden from our very own Sunny and Grant. She has the mild, friendly disposition of Sunny and the slender, athletic build of Grant.
Windy Knoll Goldens Cotton is our sweet elegant English Cream, descending from top Serbia bloodlines. As an English cream she displays an attractive fluffy white coat, and lovely flowing tale. Cotton is a very athletic English Cream who loves to run and play. Cotton’s playful personality is sure to cheer up your day!
Lady is our darkest red golden. She loves running, playing with other dogs, and going for walks. She is a very active, confident, and friendly dark red golden retriever. She produces such great puppies that we have already kept one of hers for ourselves.
Clover is one of 6 golden sisters we have had that include Clara, Patsy and Susie. Clover is a quiet, regal, friendly dark red American field golden retriever. She is medium energy with a medium build. As a mother, she is one of our best! She is great with children and the other dogs sometimes even becoming a surrogate mother.
Guinevere comes from imported Ukrainian lines. Both parents were imported from a famous Ukrainian breeder. Guinevere is more demure, but friendly English Cream golden retriever. She loves to run and play with the other goldens, but when playtime is over, she can be a couch potato. As with many English Cream goldens, she has a stockier build and a silky smooth coat.
Four year old AKC-registered George is our largest and darkest American Red golden retriever. With his rich thick coat, strong 85 lbs. stance, and fine head, he presents a handsome figure. George is enthusiastic and eager to please; he loves interaction and affirmation. Whether inside or out, he always has to be where we are. With his outgoing amiable personality, he relates well to other dogs. George has a clean/clear genetic history and healthy hips. Those looking for a retriever line with a sturdy build and pleasant demeanor should definitely consider his puppies. George is one of main reasons we look forward to being with our dogs; he is such a good natured golden retriever.
Feddy gives such enjoyment to everyone he is around as his friendly demeanor, and energetic playfulness encapsulates his superior personality. He is also gentle and considerate of children as he was raised in the home. His puppies are highly sought after for their wonderful personalities and great genetics. Some of his lines have become service dogs.

King Charles, call name “Charlie”, is one of our American males that has show golden lines! Deep-chested with a commanding bark, he ranks on the larger size at 80 lbs. In addition to his handsome mane and honey-hued classic coat, Charlie has expressive eyes and a cheerful grin. Alert and composed-he notices everything that is happening and responds readily. Although independent, Charlie appreciates attention and can’t wait to greet family and visitors alike. His puppies would be a good fit for those valuing a balanced nature, intelligence, and size in their golden retriever. Without doubt, Charlie positions himself as an impressive and handsome golden retriever.

Friendly and eager, Ulysses S. Grant, affectionately nicknamed “Grant”, is our Golden sire who not only carries a beautiful dark red coat, but also has fantastic hips! Athletically built at around 75 lbs., with a trim, proportionate, and graceful build and a fine, though waving soft coat, Grant is a beautiful Golden with a warm, loving heart devoted to pleasing us!
