One of our priorities at Windy Knoll Goldens is to provide puppies that will be excellent, healthy, friendly companions, and pets for life. The foundation to achieving our goal is making sure the parents exhibit those qualities. As caring golden retriever breeders, we test our dogs for common golden retriever genetic points including DM, GRPRA1, GRPRA2, MD etc. and have them certified with the Orthopedic Foundation of America (OFA) or PennHip to ensure our breeding dogs and their puppies are not prone to genetic weaknesses. X-Ray tests and screens are performed when the dogs reach an appropriate age – usually 2 years old (OFA) and usually around 1 year old (PennHIP). As responsible golden retriever breeders we always research our pedigree for optimal breeding lines.
We are so excited about Princess and Henry’s puppies here at Windy Knoll Goldens! These two make such a sweet pair—Princess with her gorgeous thick, creamy coat and loving personality, and King Henry’s handsome rich red coat bringing that classic golden charm and gentle nature. We can’t wait to see how their traits blend in this litter!
The puppies arrived safely on January 18th and are growing fast in our home with lots of handling from the family and kids. Come later in March, they’ll be ready to head to their new homes—fully vet checked, wormed, first vaccinations and started on socialization for those well-adjusted golden temperaments we love.
This litter has five stunning dark red pups that are really showing off those rich, deep coats we work so hard for! Out of the eight total, it’s a nice even split: four boys and four girls.

Apart from the recent litters listed below, we occasionally have older puppies available (3-9 months) that have already gone through preliminary training. At times we also have retired goldens that we are looking to re-home.
