Windy Knoll Farm is situated on a lovely dirt road, with lovely neighbors round about! We’re always glad when the neighbor folks show up and we can share our delightful little puppies with them! It’s very hard to tell who has more fun – the puppies or the people! We had lots of puppy visitors all at once this time.
- Serious discussion occurred in the puppy visitors nursery as pups were rocked, romped with, cuddled, and analyzed by a delightful group of children and adults!
Lots of proper socialization at a young age sets a good foundation for a pups future life. These pups sure get to experience a great deal of that, beginning with ourselves and our own children, and sometimes extending to our neighbors and any other visitors we may have – because who can resist a soft, cuddly, playful ball of cuteness?!
All of our young visitors today did a great job handling the puppies, and talked with animation of the cuteness, sweetness, cuddliness, and playfulness of each individual! I suspect that more than one of the children would have gladly carted a pup or two home had that been a possibility!
- This little girl just adored the puppies, and a number of them got to cuddle with her in the stroller. She did an excellent job snuggling them!
- Wide Red Collar Boy found mutual companionship while relaxing in the comfortable arms of a fellow young man.
- This young lady fell in love with little Red Collar Girl, and held her in the crook of her arm just like a baby for the longest time, nicknaming her “Precious” in the process.
- Blue Collar Boy nestled happily in the gentle arms of this girl, until it was his turn to get down to romp and play.
- Some of the pups even had the privilege of trying out the stroller seat under the watchful eyes of this puppy loving boy!
- “Cheryl” is a special figure in our dogs and puppies lives’! Since she lives right next door, she keeps abreast of all the current doggie happenings, and is the official “spoiler” of all the dogs around here! She also is our reliable and excellent dog sitter when the need arises, and we are very happy for her help!
I think, perhaps, the puppies were just a little tired out from all the excitement and fun of their visitors this morning, for they curled up for a long rest right after everyone’s departure! I also think that they couldn’t have been more satisfied with their special guests!
