Our first ever WKG reunion was such a special meetup. The weather on our rescheduled date of August 31 was cool and breezy, almost as if fall was making an early appearance. Fifteen dogs between the ages of 7 months and 4 years old and their human friends enjoyed lots of fun activities and companionship. Guests traveled from as far away as Connecticut and as close as Bangor. Fully grown goldens reunited with their parents and made new introductions too. There was plenty of tail wagging, barking, ball-chasing, and petting!
Trainer Stan led a guided obedience skills session for everyone. We all trekked out to the bog where a number of water loving dogs had a wet/muddy blast. The pond was also quite popular. Our barbeque, courtesy of Mrs. Moore and her mother-in-law, was delicious. Several lucky individuals won Amber Naturalz pet care kits in our prize drawing as well as NuVet Labs vitamin packs.
A hearty thank you to all who attended. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting your grown up pups and catching up on the adventures of golden life. Planning is already in the works for another special meetup in 2025.

I wish I could have attend. I love Goldens. Hopefully if you have one next year. I could go.
That is amazing! I wish I was closer to bring Hugsy, he is Dozer and maple’s son 2019
We are so sorry to miss what appeared as a wonderful reunion. We will definitely plan to attend for 2025.
We would have loved for you to come! You are probably the most faithful to send updates on FB! We feel like we know your golden very well.
I’m so sorry I didn’t know about your reunion or I would have come. I am only 12 miles south of Granville. My golden is Jesse and he is now 5 years old. He is a real character. Good farm dog. afraid of the horses. He is the son of Sunny and Charlie.
Maybe next year we can have a sign up a few months ahead of time. That way people can make sure to know if they want to.
