New Homes for Rosie and Brad’s 8 Puppies!

Well the day is finally here. Rosie and Brad’s puppies are eight weeks old, and most of them are heading off to their new homes this week!

Eight Weeks That Flew By

It’s hard to believe how fast these eight weeks have gone. If you’ve followed along since the day the litter arrived, you watched them go from squeaky, wobbly little potatoes into the bright-eyed, big-pawed, into-absolutely-everything characters we’ve come to adore. They found their voices, discovered that feet are for chasing, learned that laps are the best place in the house, and turned our home upside down in the best possible way. Brad, for his part, has been the goofy uncle of the operation — always ready to referee a wrestling match or flop down and let the whole pile climb on him.

Off to Their New Homes

Sending them off is bittersweet every single time. We’ve loved every muddy, chaotic, snuggly minute, and there are more than a few happy tears being wiped away this morning. But this is exactly the moment we raised them for: to walk out the door and into new homes with families who will love them their whole lives long.

A Note to the New Families

Thank you. Thank you for the questions, the patience, the puppy-proofing, and for opening your new homes and hearts to one of Rosie and Brad’s babies. You’re getting a good one. Everything you need is in your puppy folder, and the American Kennel Club’s new-puppy checklist is a wonderful place to start too. Send us photos, tell us stories, and don’t be strangers — once part of this little family, always part of it! Here are the very last pictures of the whole gang together, taken yesterday before they left for their new homes!

If you are a current or upcoming WKG puppy owner we’d love to have you join our private Facebook group for WKG families, were you can share photos and updates of your puppy and meet fellow WKG puppy owners!
