Violet And George’s Puppies Are Here!

Violet and George welcomed their babies on July 22, and Violet did an absolutely amazing job. She gave us 11 healthy, wiggly little goldens, five handsome boys and six sweet girls. Mama and babies are all doing wonderfully and settling right in. Here are their very first photos, and guess what? We one little boy available from this litter!

Violet had five boys and six girls in this litter, all soft, round, and oh so sweet. Right now they are a warm little pile of full bellies and tiny paws, spending nearly all day nursing and sleeping close to their mama. Violet has settled beautifully into motherhood. She keeps her babies close and content, and we are so thankful that she is such a wonderful mother!

This rarely happens but….One of Violet’s little boys is looking for his people. If you have been hoping for a golden puppy of your own, this is a wonderful moment to reach out. At just a few days old, the puppies are in what is called the neonatal stage, and they are growing by the hour. The American Kennel Club notes that puppies this young cannot see or hear yet — their eyes and ears are still sealed shut, and they rely completely on warmth, touch, and their sense of smell to find their mama.

For now, life is simple and sweet: eat, sleep, snuggle, and grow. The pups spend their days rooting toward Violet and each other, and their tiny bodies are already filling out day by day. In another week or so, their eyes will begin to open, and the real fun begins.
