Titus Went To School! Inside Our Proven Puppy Manners Training

Titus started his puppy manners training with us on September 16, the same day the rest of Violet and George’s puppies went home to their families. His family chose our four week program, so he gets a little longer here on the farm before he heads home on October 14!

Four Weeks Of Puppy Manners Training

Each week has one main goal. Titus starts with sit and coming when called, then down, then walking nicely on a leash, and he finishes by learning to wait at the door and greet people without jumping. Along the way he gets practice every day with crate training, his potty schedule, meeting new people, and being gently handled. It works just like Georgie’s two week program, with more time to build on it.

Four weeks gives Titus a great foundation to take home, and the American Kennel Club’s S.T.A.R. Puppy program is a good picture of where these basics lead.
