AKC Golden Retrievers are, essentially, water dogs by breeding, and most of them love nothing better than an aquatic experience. Throw in some of the intense summer heat that New England has been experiencing this summer, and you’ve got a great recipe to combat those temperatures! Our three year old daughter, Esther, was filling our Golden Retriever’s splash pool on one of these hot summer days, and she and our AKC Golden Retriever Windy Knoll Stonewall Jackson, more affectionately know as “Jack” around here, were making the most of the opportunity to appreciate the watery experience!
